James Porretto was born to be a plumber. Growing up with his grandparents, Robert and Dee Belloni, the owners of Robert’s Hardware on Hwy 59 in Mandeville, Louisiana, James always took to the blue collar workers that would come in daily to purchase supplies. A graduate of St. Paul’s School, James started working as a plumber’s helper in the summer of 1999 working for his uncle’s company, Miller Plumbing LLC. Humbled by that experience, James became a more, well-rounded tradesman by learning service work and drain cleaning. He would soon become a licensed journeyman in 2011 which exposed him to larger, commercial projects such as the University Medical Hospital in New Orleans while working with Carter & Sons Plumbing and MCC Mechanical. James received his masters plumbing license in 2018 and started working as a Plumbing Supervisor for Regional Mechanical Services (RMS) during which time he received his master gas fitter license in 2020. James’ track record speaks for itself. He’s a qualified plumber and genuine individual focused on continued growth, quality work and client satisfaction. James’ work on the Hard Rock Hotel, Tulane Primate Command Center, Davita Dialysis and Seaside Behavioral Health are examples of challenging projects that helped cultivate his diverse skillset in project execution/management.
